SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy describes how Itirium Group ("Itirium," "we," "our," or "us"), a Houston, Texas-based enterprise A/V consulting firm, collects, uses, and shares information in connection with one-to-one business text messaging (SMS) sent or received on Microsoft Teams Calling Plan phone numbers assigned to our employees.

This policy applies only to our Text Message Service. It does not replace any separate privacy notice that may apply to our website, consulting engagements, or other products and services.

Who we are / how to contact us

Information we use for SMS

To send or receive business SMS, we may process:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • Message content you exchange with our employees
  • Delivery metadata (timestamps, delivery status) provided by carriers or our messaging platform (Microsoft Teams)
  • Opt-in / opt-out status and related keywords (for example START, STOP, HELP)

How we use this information

We use SMS-related information solely to:

  • Carry on one-to-one conversational business communications between you and a specific Itirium Group employee (for example scheduling, project coordination, callbacks, and related professional discussion)
  • Honor opt-out and help requests
  • Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the messaging service, including carrier and platform requirements
  • Comply with applicable law and industry messaging rules (including 10DLC)

We do not use this Text Message Service for marketing blasts, promotional campaigns, bulk outreach, or automated advertising.

Sharing

We share SMS-related information only as needed to deliver the service—for example with Microsoft (Teams / Calling Plans), underlying carriers and aggregators, and vendors who help us operate business communications—or when required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to a lawful request.

Mobile opt-in information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for their marketing or promotional use.

Message & data rates / frequency

Itirium Group does not charge you a separate fee to send or receive these texts. Message and data rates may still apply under your wireless plan. Message frequency varies based on the conversation.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP (or QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE) to opt out of further messages from that employee number
  • Reply START to resume messaging with that number after an opt-out
  • Reply HELP for support information
  • Email info@itiriumgroup.com with privacy questions about this service

Retention

We retain SMS-related records only as long as needed for the business purpose of the conversation, service operation, dispute resolution, and legal or regulatory obligations, then delete or de-identify them in accordance with our internal records practices.

Changes

We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Text Message Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
